    Hi all,

I'm new to lab automation and sample management for small molecules. I've recently joined SLAS and I was hoping that I could get some help from the community.

    • What are the key aspects to consider?
    • What are the preferred formats (96/384 plates, screw/push caps, volume per assay)?
    • What are the biggest challenges in the field?
    • Do you have resources to suggest to help me learn about the field?

If I could get some of your expert opinions, I would be very grateful!

    Best wishes,

    Mathilde

    Hi Mathilde,

I work in automation. Please feel free to get in touch if you want to chat about automation (rishi.mahajan@regeneron.com). Maybe you could also check out a short course offered at SLAS that is "Liquid Handling Essentials" (https://www.slas.org/events-calendar/slas2022-international-conference-and-exhibition/learn/short-course-program/liquid-handling-essentials/).

    Best,
    Rishi
