    SLAS is working in conjunction with NOBCChE to launch a scholarship in 2022 for high school students of color planning to pursue a STEM degree. To date we have received funding from Amgen and Pfizer which will enable us to award two scholarships of $50,000 each.

    We are now at the point where we are seeking volunteers for two committees--a Scholarship Review Committee and a Judging Committee. In a nutshell, the Scholarship Review Committee will determine the criteria for the application and the Judging Committee will review the applications submitted and select the recipients. The detailed charters are attached.

    SLAS needs two representatives for each of these committees. if you would like to volunteer, or suggest someone, please let me know as soon as possible.
