Hello, 

The Call for Candidates for the 2026 Board of Directors is now open, and we are seeking the next round of leaders to help guide the Society into the future. There’s no better way to give back and expand your leadership skills than by serving in this vital role. 

The SLAS Nominations Committee is seeking three candidates to serve a four-year term beginning January 2026. This is a rewarding opportunity to become involved with the Society, help shape its strategic goals and make an impact on the future direction of SLAS education and engagement. 

All materials for candidates to be considered must be submitted by Thursday, July 10. Candidates from academia, industry and government are all welcome. Note: Only current, dues-paying SLAS members with previous SLAS volunteer experience are eligible for candidacy.
