Prof. Mat Todd (University College London) and leader within the Structural Genomics Consortium will describe their TARGET2035 Initiative -
Abstract Target 2035 is a global open science collaboration between academia and industry to develop chemical probes for all human proteins by 2035. The Structural Genomics Consortium is leading this project. The current priority is the development of advanced computational tools for hit finding, specifically the generation of freely accessible, large-scale, high-quality protein–ligand binding datasets to train and benchmark next-generation artificial intelligence and machine learning models. The new EU Ligand-AI grant helps to kick-start this data generation, which will be based on screening (of donated and made proteins) by i) DNA encoded libraries coupled to machine learning and ii) affinity selection mass spectrometry. This webinar will outline the project and highlight ways for the community to become involved.
