Patient Derived Scaffolds (PDS) in Cancer Research and Drug Discovery with Göran Landberg, M.D., Ph.D.

 Attendees will learn how findings using patient-derived organ scaffolds from breast and colon cancers simulate tumor microenvironments. We will cover clinical properties and “drug fingerprints” based on in vivo-like growth conditions. The results using optimized 3D-printed surrogate scaffolds – using key proteins and agarose gels - will illustrate how to build new diagnostics and aid the design of novel cancer drugs.
